Depth-oriented psychological therapy for individuals and couples in Bendigo

At Manas Psychology, therapy is grounded in a psychoanalytic, relational and depth-oriented approach. I work with adults and couples who are seeking more than brief strategies or surface-level support — people who want space to make sense of their emotional life, understand long-standing patterns and explore their internal world with honesty and care.

Therapy here focuses on the deeper meanings beneath symptoms, the influence of early experiences and the emotional patterns that continue to shape life in the present. Many people arrive after feeling that previous therapy did not reach the depth they were hoping for. My work offers a thoughtful, steady space for reflection, insight and emotional exploration.

Below you’ll find an overview of the key areas I work with.
Each service page provides more detail about how therapy can help with specific concerns.

Individual Therapy Services

Depth-oriented psychotherapy for adults

My individual therapy services explore the emotional, relational and psychological patterns that contribute to experiences such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, workplace stress, identity difficulties and long-standing emotional struggles. This work unfolds at a pace that allows deeper layers of experience to be understood with care and curiosity.

Each service page explores how depth-oriented therapy can support you to understand the emotional roots of your concerns and develop a more grounded relationship with your inner world.

Couples & Relationship Therapy

Understanding patterns of connection, conflict and communication

Couples therapy at Manas Psychology is grounded in a relational, attachment-informed and depth-oriented perspective. I work with both heterosexual and same-sex couples to explore recurring patterns, emotional misunderstandings, communication difficulties and deeper relational dynamics.

This form of therapy can help couples understand the emotional histories each partner brings into the relationship, and how these histories shape connection, conflict, intimacy and trust.

A Depth-Oriented Approach to Emotional Life

Whether you are seeking help for anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, identity questions or long-standing emotional patterns, therapy begins with an initial conversation.

From there, the work becomes a shared exploration of:

  • emotional and relational patterns
  • unconscious expectations and internal conflicts
  • the influence of early experiences
  • parts of yourself that may feel hidden, conflicted or difficult to articulate
  • the emotional meanings that symptoms may hold

Sessions are offered in person in Bendigo and online where appropriate.Information about fees, rebates and referral pathways can be found on the Fees page.
